Building on prior research identifying CD180 as a marker of treatment-resistant leukaemia stem cells, this project will evaluate CD180 expression across 15 subtypes of paediatric acute myeloid leukaemia (PAML), drawing on bulk RNA transcriptome data from 569 patients enrolled in the Myechild 01 clinical trial.

The study will identify molecular profiles associated with CD180, assess its value as a prognostic indicator, and support the development of a laboratory-based diagnostic tool.

ACT's grant will fund six to seven months of salary for a computational bioinformatician to carry out the analysis and integrate findings with existing laboratory data.
