The key objective of this project is to determine if a protein called SNM1A is an attractive therapeutic target in a specific type of tumour known as ALT-dependent cancer. The work will investigate whether these cancer cells rely on SNM1A for continued growth.

If successful, this research could pave the way for a new targeted therapy, providing a valuable option for young people who currently have few treatments available.
