We granted £3,515 to the ICR to purchase a specialised lamp for a bladder cancer study. This light source is essential for a powerful imaging technique called photoconversion, which will be used in a mouse model.

The research, led by Dr Anna Wilkins, seeks to better understand how the immune system responds to radiation therapy for bladder cancer – a process that is not yet fully understood.
