We are pleased to have awarded a grant of £5,000 towards a 12-month research project led by Professor James Flanagan at Imperial College London.

Investigation into how breastfeeding may biologically reduce breast cancer risk in younger women, particularly those who are pregnant or recently postpartum.

The project is being delivered in partnership with Prevent Breast Cancer. ACT’s funding will help support this important area of research into the biological factors that influence breast cancer risk at a critical life stage.
