Kindness Starts Young — Diego, Danilo, Lorenzo and friends
Proof that compassion knows no age limit, some of our youngest supporters have shown incredible heart and initiative in raising money for ACT.
On Saturday 29th November,13-year-old supporters Diego and Danilo ran a charity stall at their local school Christmas fayre, selling donated bric-a-brac to raise £218 for the Arcobaleno Cancer Trust.
At St. Vincent's RC School, pupils were given the opportunity to set up a playground market to sell things for charity. Lorenzo and his friends rose to the occasion, creating a stall for ACT selling old toys and raising a wonderful £98 in the process.
Meanwhile, Diego has been busy on another fundraising front — setting up a Vinted account selling second-hand clothes as part of his Duke of Edinburgh programme, raising £108 so far and counting.
We are always overwhelmed by the love and generosity we receive, and these young fundraisers are a particular source of inspiration. It doesn't matter the age, the amount, or the method — every little action helps in the fight against cancer.
